#KosKids: The #FeelTheBern Edition

I like to start a feature where I take a look at the distorted views of the clinically insane. Or more commonly known to us on the right-side of the blogosphere, as the KosKids. They are the dedicated and brain-dead followers of Markos Moulitsas, and they have bought some prime real estate at the bottom of the rabbit hole. This feature will take a look at how far down they have gone. I am going to link them, but I beg you don’t click on them.

Today is all about how they #FeelTheBern right about now!

The one stake I take for my outside the system candidate. BERNIE SANDERS

Our first outing is… utter nonsense, honestly. I can’t make heads or tails of what it means really.

All I have been able to gleam, is that monkeys fly …for Bernie Sanders. I guess. I don’t know. This might mean something to Carissa Miller, but she doesn’t explain what it means.

Media’s anti-Sanders Bias Just Getting Too Obvious

This one makes sense, yet goes into a nothing burger of a story.

Oh wow, MSM is not fair? Stop the presses! Welcome to the club. Thanks for the update, lasvegasantiwar. I enjoyed it.

It’s Working Bernie Fans!

What’s working James Kroeger? Pouring good money after bad?

Basically, Kroeger wants you to pour more money into Bernie Sanders’ campaign. …Which will just cause Hillary Clinton to spend more money and take extreme left-wing positions. …Which will cause Hillary Clinton to have less money and make huge leaps in logic for a return to the center for the general election.

You know what, knock yourselves out! I give my full endorsement to this plan!

Hillary’s Conundrum

Here, kbman was able to rub two brain cells together long enough to put together a thoughtful article:

Hillary has a problem, a big problem. In fact, it is such a big problem that it is likely to have already cost her the nomination. Her problem, in a nutshell, is that the only way she can effectively neutralize Sanders’ policy proposals is to lie about them, and in so doing reinforcing the public’s perception of her as being dishonest.

She has already tried personal attacks and seen them backfire. She insinuated that Bernie was a sexist one week, and the following week insinuated that he was a racist. There was immediate backlash in the media over both incidents and Bernie saw his fundraising get a boost.

Seems plausible. Clinton has taken a huge hit in the polls, in only Iowa and New Hampshire. Nationally, and in the South, Clinton still has a commanding lead. Most southern states, if I am not mistaken, are winner takes all.

So keep fooling yourself into thinking Sen. Bernie Sanders even has a remote chance of winning. Keep throwing good money after bad. When Clinton comes asking for money and you feel cheated out of a general election Sanders campaign, I hope you think long and hard about how much you are going to give.

Well, see ya’ later!

#Election2016: @HillaryClinton Once Called #Syria’s #alAssad A Reformer

Just the other day, Hillary Clinton went on one of those MSNBC shows that no one watches and said all the right things (autoplay video at the link):

In an interview on MSNBC’s MTP Daily, (Democratic front-runner Hillary) Clinton said fighting ISIS would be “very difficult” with (Syrian President Bashar al)Assad still in place and she would “prioritize both” because “you can’t really do one without the other.” She added that “ousting (al)Assad has to be a political process.”

“I think that we’re going to have to, as they say, walk and chew gum at the same time. And that will be to, you know, do the best we can with our friends in the region to go after ISIS and try to, you know, push them out of Iraq and then try to, you know, deal with them and the territory they control in Syria,” Clinton said.

Let’s just get this out of the way and just call “a political process” for what it really is: “Dragging my ass.”

But whatever. Hindsight is 20/20 and Hillary Clinton noted that if President Barack Obama had listen to her, this mess wouldn’t have happen:

“I can’t sit here and tell you that if we had done what I and General Petraeus and Secretary Panetta and others had recommended, we would have made more progress on the ground. I obviously thought so at the time,” Clinton added.

If we had been able to move in, to help organize and support those people on the ground, maybe we could’ve made a difference. Well, we’ve got to deal with where we are right now. It’s obviously now a different set of circumstances. And what the Pentagon has been doing hasn’t worked.

That sound you hear is President Barack Obama being feed The Clinton Bus. If we had obviously just listen to the enlighten Hillary Clinton, this mess in Syria wouldn’t have happen.

Except, the internet never forgets. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton is one of the reason we started dragging our feet in the first place:

Secretary of State Hillary Clinton… drew a contrast between Syrian President Bashir Assad and his late father and predecessor, and said U.S. lawmakers who recently have visited Damascus regarded him as a “reformer.”

She made the startling comment while explaining why the United States will not intervene on behalf of Syrian civilians revolting against the regime as it has done in the case of Libya.

And now, thanks to EmailGate, we know that Sidney Blumenthal warned Hillary Clinton to stop the “reformer” nonsense:

Longtime Clinton family confidante Sidney Blumenthal warned then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in 2011 that Syrian President Bashar Assad is no reformer.

“Enclosed is an article by David W. Lesch, perhaps the U.S. expert with the closest relationship with Bashar al-Assad, developed out of my continuing correspondence with him, an edited version which I have appended,” in a message to Clinton on June 20, 2011.The bottom line is that Assad’s gestures at reform are delusional attempts to recreate the pattern of his own recent past when he gained a modicum of respect from the West.

What fresh new madness have we been caught up in that Sidney “The Hit Man” Blumenthal is the voice of reason?

But honestly, this is just Hillary Clinton trying to rewrite history and the liberal “Ministry of Truth” doing their level best to help her by sending this down the memory hole. This is why no one likes the MSM. Not once did Chuck Todd challenge her.

This also brings up if we can trust Hillary Clinton not to side with the bad guys.

Well, see ya’ later!

#FLSen: Rep @AlanGrayson Goes #BeastMode …On #MSM/Democrats

Hold your breath. Make a wish. Count to three.

As he faces the pressures of a potential Senate bid in the nation’s biggest swing state, Florida Rep. Alan Grayson has hurled angry expletives at reporters and described his likely rival in crude terms during a tense conversation with the head of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee.

For all of his outbursts, Grayson has been inventive with his slurs. On Wednesday, he bizarrely accused one reporter of being a “shiting robot” – a phrase that’s sure to become part of his legacy of incendiary remarks, which include branding a lobbyist a “K Street whore,” likening the tea party to the Ku Klux Klan and accusing a Christian conservative opponent of being a member of the Taliban.

Beast Mode! Rep. Alan Grayson did indeed say those things. But come on, those things are in past right? Come on Politico, can you find it in your liberal hearts to cut this poor man some slack?

By the way, I am adding all the curse words back in. I want you to get the full, unedited Grayson. Come with me on this magical journey.

“What’s the deal here? You publish whatever colorful lies people toss your way, for their own obvious political purposes?” Grayson asked (DSCC Chairman Senator Jon Tester) via text message.

I won’t dispute that. The DSCC is just built on lies and suffering.

The most recent case occurred Wednesday when Tampa Bay Times political editor Adam C. Smith phoned Grayson to ask the Orlando Democrat about having incorporated a couple of Cayman Islands hedge funds where potential investors could avoid taxes. At the same time, Grayson has built up his public persona as a populist Wall Street-bashing firebrand who criticizes conservative tax-avoiders.

Ok, calling Grayson poor earlier was an oversight. Sometimes I can be wrong. It is rare, but it has been known to happen.

Rep. Alan Grayson is rich beyond the dreams of avarice, but we shouldn’t hold that against him. Right? Right?!

“When I set up my investment funds I set it up like everyone else,” Grayson told Smith, saying he established the funds on the advice of an unnamed attorney. The paper, he said to Smith, was trying to find “some stupid, bullshit story. … You want to write shit about it, and you can’t because not a single dollar of taxes has been avoided.”

Since no funds had yet been invested, Smith asked about the propriety of establishing the funds in anticipation of getting foreign investors.

“Are you fucking kidding? I set up a fund that might solicit foreign investors. … I have no present intention of soliciting foreign investors,” Grayson said, according to the report. “Your perception issue is bullshit.”

See? Perfectly reasonable and logical explanation. No one needs to fly off the handle.

Grayson then began complaining about a POLITICO story last week that reported his girlfriend, biotech entrepreneur Dena Minning, had reached out to at least one Democratic-leaning group to put herself forward as a potential congressional candidate to run for Grayson’s Orlando-area House seat if he runs for the Senate. Neither Grayson nor Minning would comment to POLITICO, but he brought up the story to Smith when he trashed the new line of questioning about his finances.

“This is even worse than Grayson’s girlfriend might run for Congress 18 months from now,” Grayson said, according to the Tampa Bay Times. “This is a whole ‘nother level of bullshit. … Are are you some kind of shiting robot? You go around shiting on … people?”

Leave Dena Minning Alone! *cries*

Smith wasn’t the only reporter to bear the brunt of Grayson’s rage recently. After a POLITICO story ran last week, Orlando Sentinel reporter Scott Powers finally reached the congressman on his cellphone. Grayson refused to comment but instead swore at Powers using the f-word.

Powers wouldn’t comment on the conversation but confirmed he was unable to get anything printable from Grayson.

To be perfectly honest, Scott Powers likely deserved it. Powers is a fucking asshole and everyone knows it!

This is where I leave you on this magically epic tour-de-force that will be Democrats next nominee. I am so very sorry. However Rep. Alan Grayson is not going anywhere and we will catch up to him shortly, I assure you.

Well, see ya’ later!

#CivilDisobedience: The @TB_Times/@gangrey Should Be Ashamed Of Themselves

I first want to get what get into what civil disobedience is all about. It is about getting arrested over an unjust law, in order to bring light to it and to bring about change. And you accept the punishment afterward. Like my friend Moe Lane once said, civil disobedience is “how you make people ashamed at the injustice, and at the system that created the injustice.” It is sitting in the “whites-only” front of the bus. It is NOT squatting in some park and demanding rich people be poorer.

Martin Luther King Jr. said it best:

In no sense do I advocate evading or defying the law, as would the rabid segregationist. That would lead to anarchy. One who breaks an unjust law must do so openly, lovingly, and with a willingness to accept the penalty. I submit that an individual who breaks a law that conscience tells him is unjust, and who willingly accepts the penalty of imprisonment in order to arouse the conscience of the community over its injustice, is in reality expressing the highest respect for law.

So you can understand my opinion of a gyrocopter landing on the National Mall (and endangering human lives I might add) in order to protest, not the “no-fly zone” over Washington DC, but campaign finance laws, is not what I would call civil disobedience! Not by a long shot!

And so it stands to reason that since that Doug Hughes’ politics are left-wing, that the Tampa Bay Times and Ben Montgomery not only knew of this dangerous stunt, but did nothing to stop it whatsoever:

The Secret Service was aware of (Doug) Hughes and had interviewed him twice over the past few months, according to (Ben) Montgomery. But it is unclear whether it knew when Hughes intended to act.

But Montgomery and the Times had a pretty good idea. On Monday, he and Times photographer James Borchuck traveled to Washington in anticipation of Hughes’s flight. Rain delayed takeoff on Monday and Tuesday, Montgomery said. But around noon Wednesday, Hughes called Montgomery from Gettysburg and told him that he was on the runway, prepared for liftoff.

At that point, the newspaper did two things. It posted Montgomery’s story about Hughes on its Web site while a reporter at the St. Petersburg, Fla.-based newspaper phoned the Secret Service. A public information officer told the newspaper that the agency was unaware of Hughes’s flight and referred a reporter to Capitol Police. An unidentified officer told the Times, “He hasn’t notified anybody. We have no information,” the paper reported.

Nevertheless, the Times made the wrong decision, said Fred Brown, a former longtime chairman of the Society of Professional Journalists’ ethics committee. “I think the newspaper had a responsibility to alert authorities” well in advance of Hughes’s takeoff. “There are too many things [the paper] didn’t know. Was he carrying an incendiary device or a weapon? There are many ways to weaponize [the aircraft] or create a danger.”

Wasserman points out that the Times, a recipient of 10 Pulitzer Prizes over the years, benefited from its own inaction: It released its story just as Hughes was making news, ensuring that readers would flock to its Web site to learn more about him. “As a news organization, you can’t be complicit in this,” he said.

When a newspaper becomes the story, they fucked up. And the Tampa Bay Times and Ben Montgomery fucked up hard. You see, they interviewed this guy and then waited until he was committing a crime before doing anything. The thought of someone getting hurt even crossed Ben Montgomery’s mind (do not click the link to give the Tampa Bay Times more business and I’ve screen-capped this, so no deleting):

As of this writing, Ben Montgomery is completely unrepentant. He likely thinks “no harm, no foul” and is patting himself on the back for being on the scene of the crime ahead of time. This is why people no longer likes or trust the media.

They should be ashamed of themselves for this ugly display of ethically challenged journalism. I don’t know if the Tampa Bay Times and Ben Montgomery should face criminal charges, but I do know they are both morally bankrupt and should both be put out of business. You have to have morals in order to feel any shame. I think it is about time we start calling their sponsors and tell them how they put people in danger.

Well, see ya’ later!

The Swamp #18

Wax On, Wax Off, with @StateofDaniel-san.

The Swamp #18: #FeminismIsAwful, #MSM, #BDS, @StateofDaniel Guest!

First podcast without Laura, and it was a smashing success! Still looking for co-host however, so please email me for more information.

In this podcast I speak with StateofDaniel about how Feminism drives crazy stuff like how a Med Student tries to make yogurt with ingredients from her vagina. Then we talk about the MSM and how, while we still need them, they need to reform their ways. Then we get to the racist, in my opinion, BDS Movement. Please note that Daniel didn’t know about this subject until I told him about BDS. Still, it was great fun talking to him. But before you listen, check out my Patreon Page!

Statement On Fact Challenged Orlando Sentinel Article

*reads article*

*winces*

That hurts. I mean, it really does. I was kind of expecting this a little, but I didn’t think the Orlando Sentinel would spell out what happen. I was hoping that would stick to the issues, but I guess they wanted to smear a Republican after all. Please remember this:

If you are a Republican, the MSM hates you. END OF STORY. FULL STOP. PERIOD.

The article makes it sound worse than it really was. I knew she would report on them, but bloody hell. Charges were dropped because there was nothing to them. I told the Sentinel that, but I guess they ran out of ink at that point. *shurgs*

Some more distortions and half truths: There must be a paper trail, it does not mean that has to be paper ballot. I verified this with a couple Florida lawmakers. I told the Sentinel that there should be a hard-copy paper receipt for the county and voter, if and when we move to an electronic voting system. I told the reporter this and insisted she make it clear about the paper trail, but she omitted all of this in her report. Again with them running out of ink. Maybe if she stick to what we are running for and not on something that happen a long time ago, she would have had room to write this out.

They also wanted me to also start a fight with the REC of Lake County, but that I wasn’t going to give them. In fact, I told them I supported their right to endorse a candidate of their choice. I am a member of the Lake County REC, so there you go.

Clearly, I am mad about what was written. I know I will personally never pick up another Orlando Sentinel paper again or believe another word from their pages. This is why people have honestly stopped reading newspapers and news magazines. Why buy newspapers over and over again so chock-full of fiction, distortions, and half truths when you can go out and buy a fiction novel just once?

Well, see ya’ later!
