I finally got word from DragonGate. If anything, I can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that she’s alive. I was honestly worried she got hurt there in Italy or on her way there. I’m just thankful she’s back in my life.

You know, I just finished up Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand and one of the things about love in that book is that it should be earned. I agree. She has earned my love to her, but I have yet to earn her love.

And that’s ok. I need to do her right in life and that means being able to stand on my two feet. I want her to be proud of me, like I am proud of her. Once that happens, I can really love her the way I should be able too: Looking right at her, instead of up at her (metaphorically, of course).

Anyway, I am thinking of writing a short review of Atlas Shrugged. It is really a great book and want to get down my thoughts.

I still haven’t heard anything out of DragonGate going on NINE MONTHS* now.

While I worry about her, I know she’s an adult and that she can take care of herself. However not hearing from her has upset me greatly. Just wish there was some way I can get in contact with her and to hear her voice or know she’s ok.

But I must push on. Life stops for no one, including love.

The Uncommon Cold has returned. I call it the uncommon cold for two reason:

1. I rarely get sick.
2. I take enough allergy meds to normally suppress cold symptoms.

Thus when I get sick, I really get sick. I am able to hold my food down, but otherwise I feel aweful*. This morning I woke up and I felt like dying. I’ve taken enough meds to get shredded. Maybe it is because I can’t think of anything else to do.

Here’s to hoping I can shake this before Christmas comes around.

I really miss DragonGate at this moment. I wish she email me with her address in Italy so I can write then send her a letter. I haven’t really heard from her since my computer melted and she headed to Italy. I’m very worried something might have happen to her or that she’s hooked up with some hunky Italian man. It is not knowing what is going on with her that is really killing me.

Allen Gregory…. No, it’s dumb. It is not even slightly funny. If I was gay, I’d honestly be offend. I hope it fails. Bring back Bob’s Burgers and quick!

I sure wish DragonGate would at least email me. I am getting really worried about her. It’s like as soon as my computer melted (quick note: Still computerless. Need new computer.), she fell off the face of the earth. As far as I know, she’s in Italy… somewhere.

I just found out that my good friend Moe Lane has not played Halo. Go over there and tell him what he has missed out on! I found this awesome video (if it is a fake, it is a damn good one) and I can’t share it with him, because it would be meaningless to him.

I haven’t heard from DragonGate in some time and it is beginning to worry me greatly. She hasn’t updated The Logs Of The Sierra Nacho in some time. I have only gotten one email from her since my computer melted (still computerless, by the way). I sent her an email yesterday asking if she is ok, half-joking for her to just tell me if she meet some handsome Italian man. I love her very much and I miss talking to her. I understand she’s in Italy having a good time, but I hope she is ok.

Anyway, I resently got my hands on a copy of “The Belgariad” by David Eddings and I just finished it. All I can say is that it blew my mind. That was the greatest set of books I have read to date. I now want to get started back on my own book as soon as possible. Now I don’t want to be the next David Eddings or JRR Tolkien, but I do want to finish the three plan books before I die.

I’ve started posting to my Story blog, The Logs of the Sierra Nacho, again.

Current main plotline: Abused by the Earth government, the colonies are in rebellion. Carefree but dangerous cloudcuckoolander Captain Beebeetter is torn between duty and family, and must bring the colonies back under control while averting bloodshed.

I just got word from DragonGate that she’s back from Afghanistan! I’m so happy and excited that she is away from that place! I miss her so much. I just want to hug her for an hour when I next see her. We plan on at least seeing each other again soon and then take things from there.

Now that she is gone from that aweful place, it still doesn’t change the fact that I think we should get out of Afghanistan. I feel Hamid Karzai is no longer our friend and I blame Obama for that loss of friendship.

Well, not really. I’m taking the day off from political blogging just so I can write more of my novel Dragon Mercenary. I just learn that anyone can publish their stuff on Amazon’s Kindle and after looking into it, I am very excited. I want to finish this book and start formatting it for the Kindle as soon as possible. So I have set aside today so I can work on just it.

I also want to bring in DragonGate’s writing and maybe create a small publishing label just for the both of us (I have the perfect name). She is also a good writer, real good. However she doesn’t really share my publishing dream. It will be up to her, but why not make a little money?

I might also be gone all day tomorrow. more on that later.

Let me just repeat last year’s resolutions: “Basically my New Year’s Resolution would be to finish my book and any of my unfinished short stories. It is honestly pathetic that I haven’t finish most of them. Other than that, I have nothing else except maybe get a stable job.”

I want to write at least two chapters of “Spoils Of War” before this year is up. I alo want to take part in NaNoWriMo this year. I don’t know what I would want to write about, but I have a couple ideas floting around my head.

I might also meet-up with DragonGate when she gets back from Afghanistan. My only hope is that it lasts longer than a week.
