#Christmas2016: (@BrilliantGames) #SantaClaus Army’s Fall

There was no other possible ending to this battle:

At least, as the battle presented to us here. So many mistakes made it’s not even funny.

Right off the bat the Penguins had a 2.75 to 1 advantage over the Santa Claus (SC) army. You can tell by the end of the video that the Penguin army’s leaping of the ledges did nothing for them, but they died in such small numbers that it did not help the SC army.

Second, the Penguins had the high ground. Honestly, even Sun Tzu knew the high ground was important:

With regard to precipitous heights, if you are beforehand with your adversary, you should occupy the raised and sunny spots, and there wait for him to come up. If the enemy has occupied them before you, do not follow him, but retreat and try to entice him away.

The SC army had taken the narrow pass of a box canyon, but did not install a garrison:

With regard to narrow passes, if you can occupy them first, let them be strongly garrisoned and await the advent of the enemy. Should the army forestall you in occupying a pass, do not go after him if the pass is fully garrisoned, but only if it is weakly garrisoned.

The Penguins was able to surround the SC army at the entrance of the narrow pass of the box canyon and push them back with their superior numbers. If the SC army had installed a garrison or had been a heavy infantry (the killing of the very last Santa Claus showed how weak a class of infantry the SC army was), then it might have been a different story altogether.

Up and down, the Santa Claus army made one bad mistake after another. Nothing else gets you in the spirit of Christmas than seeing an army of 11,000 Penguins gut the weaker 4,000 Santa Claus army.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

#Christmas2015: Yet Another Merry Christmas Everyone!

I know you might get tried of hearing it from other people, BUT MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!! I love Christmas! My three top holidays are Christmas, Fourth Of July, and Halloween (in that order)! So of course I am going to share with you a YouTube video Christmas card I made:

I know it is not the best, but it is straight from the heart.

Also, are you offended by “Xmas” abbreviation? Don’t be:

Do you find the word “Xmas,” as an abbreviation for Christmas, offensive? Many people do.

But the history of the word “Xmas” is actually more respectable – and fascinating – than you might suspect. First of all, the abbreviation predates by centuries its use in gaudy advertisements. It was first used in the mid 1500s. X is the Greek letter “chi,” the initial letter in the word Χριστός. And here’s the kicker: Χριστός means “Christ.” X has been an acceptable representation of the word “Christ” for hundreds of years. This device is known as a Christogram. The mas in Xmas is the Old English word for “mass.” … In the same vein, the dignified terms Xpian and Xtian have been used in place of the word “Christian.”

So let the ignorant heathens use “Xmas” if they like. Little do they know that they are still using Christmas, just with fewer letters. The joke will just be between us.

Now if you will excuse me, IT’S CHRISTMAS!! I have to go be with family! God Bless!

Well, see ya’ later!

The #KrampusMovie/@KrampusMovie Discussion You Knew Was Coming

Come now, you knew this was coming. To back out now or complain about it, wouldn’t make any sense. So just sit back and enjoy it:

The problem with Christmas Horror movies (or books), is that they tried to make Santa Claus the bad guy. That won’t work because Santa Claus isn’t a bad guy.

Krampus should instead be that bad guy Christmas has been looking for and he has been with us all along, we just forgot about him. Instead of telling kids Santa will give them coal if they are bad (which means nothing to them these days), tell them that the fucking Krampus will come to spank them and possibly drag them to Hell.

IMDB lists this movie as being a “Comedy-Fantasy-Horror” and looking at the cast, I am not surprised. The fact that this movie doesn’t have an auto “R” rating or a Red Band trailer, gives me pause if this is really “horror” at all. I am thinking hard “PG-13” and “dark humor” fare. Since I have known to be wrong, I can very well be wrong.

On all those notes, I actually want to see this movie. Looks interesting to say the least. I know there is a complete tone change half-way through the trailer, but it seems natural and I knew it was coming. So am willing to forgive the change in tone for now.

Well, see ya’ later!

A New Year 2013

Yeah. It’s 2013. Not sure if this will be a happy year for me.

I have been epicly depressed since shortly after the election. As you can tell, I am completely pessimistic about the next four years. This includes both personally and the future of the United States. I have also joined the Let It Burn movement.

I have also been chronically sick now for weeks. I have not been able to stop stiffling or sneezing, no matter what I do or take. I have given up on medication, since nothing is working. It has gotten less severe (including my depression), but hasn’t gone away.

Thanksgiving was good. Since this is a leap year, we didn’t have the time share at Orange Lake. It was an ok Thanksgiving. Nothing more to write about that.

Christmas was better. I got a Once Upon A Time (if you are not watching this show: I suggest you do, it’s a great show) t-shirt for Christmas. It was the best thing I got this year, but granted I didn’t get or want much. I also got a small chess board (with cheap wooden pieces) and I played a nice game of chess with my Dad, which will be the best memory for this Christmas.

Well, see ya’ later!

Christmas Tauntauns

“Christmas Tauntauns” will send everyone who grew up in the 80s back to their childhood. I know it does me. If you ever were a kid when Star Wars came out or shortly there after, you grew up in the early days of toy-tie-ins. Everything that came out aimed at kids had toys that came with it.

Sometimes they had bad results. I had #34 Pizzaface, #30. Stinkor, #28. Orbear, one #10. Eco Warrior, and yes, one Ithorian.

God, I loved my childhood. I remember that I used to have a Toy Army, with each toy had a function and a neat chain of command (with me at the top, of course). We go out and battle the evil toy army that I also built or big single evil toys.

Of couse as a child, you think Christmas is all about you. Of course when you grow up, you realize that is complete bunk. Christmas is a hoilday for the adults as well. In fact, I think we love the ride more than you kids will ever imagine.

And yes, Santa Claus is very much real. I don’t care what anyone says. Tell them that BigGator5 personally vouches for the big guy in the red suit.

I also want to leave off with one of my favorite Christmas story ever:

8And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 10And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Well, see ya’ later!

Merry Christmas 2010

I wanted to get people to Luke 2:8-14 (King James Version) to audio so that I could put it together into a YouTube video, but no one responded. Then I wanted to get Blake to do a video with him citing the passage, but he wanted no part in doing the video. Maybe next year. So instead I will just link a bunch of Christmas Theme YouTube videos I found. I hope you enjoy!

Animals of YouTube sing “Jingle Bells” – Singing animal pets!

The 12 Days of Winter – For those of you who want to be politically correct…

La Senza presents “The Cup Size Choir” – Sexy video for all those who enjoy the finer things in life.

The Grinch Song – We love to hate the Grinch.

2 year old addicted to Angry Birds Christmas – Cute kid who loves Angry Birds Christmas.

Grandma Got Run Over By A Reindeer – One of my favorite songs. Need I say more?

Christmas Time in Hell! – I know I am going to hell for posting this, but I love South Park and I love how this guy made this into a WoW AMV.

Star Wars Christmas Special… That Everyone Really Wanted. – Great title, just because it so true. I saw the one they made way back when and it was aweful, really aweful.

Silent Night, Instrumental – Ending with something more Christmasty. While this is an insrumental, the lyrics refer to Luke 2:8-14 (King James Version) below and so it seems appropriate.

8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. 9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid. 10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people. 11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord. 12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger. 13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying, 14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. –Luke 2:8-14 (King James Version)

First Day Of Winter

Today is the first day of winter. Yay!

Actually, I love the cold weather we have been getting in Florida. My only problem is that it’s a dry cold (the ironies of ironies), so my skin is dry. I’ve been drinking lots of water to balance it out.

I’m trying to get Blake to read Luke 2:8-14 (King James Version) for a Christmas video, but so far he refuses. Whatever, see if I do anything for that spoil brat in the near future. This was my “Plan B” and now I have to come up with a “Plan C” soon.

Well, see ya’ later!

What I Want For Christmas 2010

My Christmas Wish List 2010:

My list is short and practical. Two items really. Stuff I can use and not just toys.

First thing I want, is a belt. Yes, a belt. I currently have one, but I think it’s about to fall apart. Honestly, I am shocked every time that I am able to put it on and it just doesn’t come apart. So I would like a new belt before I become belt-less.

My second wish, would be a trackball. Specifically Logitech M570 Corldless Optical Trackball. My mouth waters at this lovely thing. It’s wireless, it’s right-handed, and it has a 3rd button/wheel (everything else is just extra coolness)!

That’s it really. After that, I really don’t need nothing else.

Well, see ya’ later!

I Miss DragonGate

This sucks. I miss DragonGate. It’s times like this (Thanksgiving and Christmas) that I want to be with the one I love, but she is on the other side of the world.

Although I am sad, I am more than willing to share her with the Army. I told her more than once that I be more than accepting if she makes the Army a career. I will highly recommend to her that she stay in the Army until they no longer wanted her. Then I can have her all to myself.

Well, see ya’ later!

Redemption

I went to go see Glenn Beck last night with my dad and step-mom. I have been writing this all day, so this is why it has taken so long to put out there.

Anyway, this was Glenn Beck’s Christmas Tour. The main focus was on The Meaning of Christmas and what he thinks about each of the aspects of the holiday. He does take jabs at Democrats because most of his fans are consertives, but over-all this is a no non-sense and anti-PC (while he has nothing against other religions having holidays this time of year, rages against PC punks trying to push Christmas from public view altogether) look at Christmas. He also had a full array of stroies about his family, both comedical and heart-touching.

“But Gator, you are an Atheist! Why do you care?” Well, I do celebrate Christmas (I can just imagin Ellen Johnson having an heart-attack right now) too. The rest of my family are Christains and I just want to enjoy the time together without rocking the boat, because it wouldn’t be fair to them. I also enjoy it, so what is the harm?

Basicly Glenn Beck goes on about how things like presents and shopping commercializing the holiday. Even through he agrees that the magic and innocence of children are a big part of the holiday, it is not the true meaning of Christmas. While family and even freshly baked surger cookies are part of the holiday, they are also not part of the meaning of Christmas. He even says that the birth of Jesus is not the true meaning of Christmas, if not told the true meaning of the holiday:

Redemption. Without redemption, the story of Jesus is meaningless. Christmas, Glenn Beck says, should be about redeming yourself and offering redemption to others (even if you don’t agree with them).

Now I’m not about to convert to Christianity. Glenn Beck also made this out better than I can. However I like how Glenn Beck thinks and I would like to dwell on what he said.

Well, see ya’ later!
