…And I believe my grandmother and aunt is already losing.

Last week, my grandmother and aunt have started to put their foot down when it comes to Blake. I was delighted that they finally have had enough of his complete selfishness. They started by demanding he sit at the table to eat. Baby steps, but steps forward.

However, this week, they have already ceded a lot of ground to him. The other night, Blake was given permission to eat away from the table during dinner. Also, dispite my encougement to them both, they have not followed through in getting him to sleep in his own bed. In the end, King Blake rules completely.

It is honestly beyond me how they can allow a 7-year-old walk all over them. I guess I will never truely never understand.

I was hoping to go to the Tea Party protests in Tallahassee today. However I lost one of my eye contacts early yesterday and now I am heading to the eye doctor to get checked out in order to buy more. It turns out that you need an perscription no more than a year old to buy contacts.

I have to admit, I have had the same pair of contacts for some time now. Thus, I haven’t had an eye examine in some time. While I look forward to getting new contacts, I am also scared at what they could find while under the scope. Don’t get me wrong, I rather know if something is wrong with me. That said, I am a writer and so it’s only natural that I might have apprehensions when it comes to my eye-sight.

So wish me luck in that I come out of this eye examine with nothing more than new contacts.

(Update): I am lucky in that there is nothing wrong (disease wise) with my eyes! My prescription for both eyes have even out and the doctor said it was a good thing. But I had a rough time for a short time after the examine. They dilated my eyes (and while I don’t have a problem with a doctor dilating my eyes for a test, it’s still annoying) and I couldn’t see up-close for some time. However I am over it and I can see great.

Well, not really. I’m taking the day off from political blogging just so I can write more of my novel Dragon Mercenary. I just learn that anyone can publish their stuff on Amazon’s Kindle and after looking into it, I am very excited. I want to finish this book and start formatting it for the Kindle as soon as possible. So I have set aside today so I can work on just it.

I also want to bring in DragonGate’s writing and maybe create a small publishing label just for the both of us (I have the perfect name). She is also a good writer, real good. However she doesn’t really share my publishing dream. It will be up to her, but why not make a little money?

I might also be gone all day tomorrow. more on that later.

For a couple of hours, things were not good in the merry old land of Oz.

My account and my site here had been suspended. Thankfully I have a back-up email account and was abe to get in contact with them very quickly. They just contacted me and told me: “Ops! Our bad! Nothing wrong, go about your business!”

Since it didn’t take long, I am going to forgive them for whatever happen and consider the matter close. IPS Hosting has been very good to me as a host and I hope to stay with them a long time to come.
