Today is Memorial Day. I’m more for the traditional observance of Memorial Day (May 30th) and not just the last Monday of the month. But I hope people everywhere remember those who gave their lives to give us the freedom we enjoy now, no matter what day it is.

On a more personal note, nothing new with me. I still miss DragonGate very much, but the other day I did talk with her briefly on AIM. She is doing good, hates it there in Afghanistan, but that is normal. I want to send her a letter as soon as possible. I am still looking for a job, but I have been interviewing. I will hopefully know if I have one job by the end of the week.

Just got this joke. Please note it’s a joke and completely fictional (as far as I know):

A U.S. Marine squad was marching north of Fallujah when they came upon an Iraqi terrorist on one side of the road who was badly injured and unconscious. On the opposite side of the road was an American Marine in a similar but less serious state. The Marine was conscious and alert and as first aid was given to both men, the squad leader asked the injured Marine what had happened.

The Marine reported, “I was heavily armed and moving north along the highway here, and coming south was a heavily armed insurgent. We saw each other and both took cover in the ditches along the road. I yelled to him that Saddam Hussein was a miserable, lowlife scum bag who got what he deserved. He yelled back that Barack Obama is a lying, good-for-nothing, left wing Commie who isn’t even an American. So I said that Osama Bin Laden dresses and acts like a frigid, mean-spirited lesbian! He retaliated by yelling, ‘Oh yeah? Well, so does Nancy Pelosi!’ And, there we were, in the middle of the road, shaking hands, when a truck struck us.”

I got a good chuckle out of it. I know this could never happen, because a Marine would not be walking alone just north of Fallujah.

Clearly, Blake can do no wrong and I am scum of the earth. That is the verdict from my Grandmother and Aunt.

I guess I am. I can’t find a job and I am broke as hell. I am a loser and a failure. I’m a waste of flesh. I don’t know what DragonGate sees in me. I can’t support myself, what makes me think I can support her? She be better off without me. I wish the Hand Of God would strike me down and end my misery. I don’t care if I ended up in Hell, it might just be better than here. Everyone hates me and I hate myself. Just to be clear, I could never kill myself.

Briliant.

A man aged 59 [is] squatting in a luxury home near the Houses of Parliament last night.

The squatter, named as a Mr Gordon Brown from Scotland, was refusing to budge from the Georgian townhouse in Downing Street, central London – denying entry to its rightful tenant.

Honestly, that is what you get when you use a parliament system of goverment. Sorry this is a short post, but the British amuse me to no end.

Hey, it’s Cinco De Mayo! We are a nation of immigrants and although I do not like illegal immigration, today I at least celebrate the many legal immigrants from Mexico and other Hispanic nations coming together as Americans.

This is also why I also support Puerto Rico becoming a state. Better they join us as equals instead of being our territory forever.

I turn 30 today. I’m still unemployed. DragonGate is in Afghanistan. I don’t have any pennies I could rub together. I live in a house in which I’m inferior to a seven-year-old brat.

So I’m basically I hate my life and I’m going out of my fucking mind. As you can tell, I am a very unhappy fucker at this time. At least around the time of my 31st, DragonGate will be back and that I can look forward to.

PS (7:30pm): I now have a sunburn. That shit just tops my day.
