Where to begin? I guess the beginning is a good idea...
December 1st: I didn't sleep at all the night before. I was nervous. Not only was I going to meet DragonGate, but I haven't flown in over nine years. This was of course, long before 9/11 and I didn't know what to expect getting on a plane. Thinking it would be better to be early than late, I got to Orlando International hours before my flight. The flight to El Paso were long, but I couldn't sleep because I was so excited about the sights I was seeing outside the window of the plane. I got there and got a nice hotel in Alamogordo (only suggest going to that hotel while in Alamogordo, come visit my hotel while in Orlando). Through a series of missteps, I wasn't able to meet up with DragonGate. This was due to me not understanding the area and not knowing were to go.
December 2nd: With the layout of the area now in mind, I was able to meet up with DragonGate at last! Before I meet her, I visited the missle museum there on base. After taking a ton of pictures, I got a call from Dragon and headed out to meet her. After a couple of hugs and introduction, she got me a pass so I can drive around on base. Then we went for lunch and just chatted it up until she had to go back to work. From there I went to the White Sands National Monument and again, I took a lot of pictures. In fact, I hope to post a video of the experience. Later for dinner, we went for Pizza Hut pizza because Dragon said she hadn't had pizza in some time. I will never forget it, we had a medium half-pepperoni and half-sausage pizza with a bottle of Mountain Dew to drink.
December 3rd: This time we just meet for dinner. Meeting her at her place, we had Subway and they were out of bread. They only had wrap bread. After eating, we walked to her apartment where we watched Iron Man and Apocalypto. As I said, we walked everywhere we went. The base is small enough that everything is in walking distance. DragonGate doesn't have a car and doesn't really need one. I also think I needed to start walking myself. We stayed up very late.
December 4th: Again, I went to the White Sands while I waited for dinner. Me and Dragon ate on the base's bowling ally. We both don't bowl so as soon as they started bowling, we choose to head out. When we got back to her apartment, we watched The Santa Clause. During the movie, I asked Dragon if she had feelings for me. I knew she was a shy girl, so I told her she didn't have to answer if she didn't want to. However she turned to me and said that yes, she has feelings for me as well. Then she lean into me and we held each other for the rest of the movie. It was magical and was the highlight of the trip for me. When the movie was over, not wanting to ruin the moment, I left and told her I'd call before I headed out on the plane.
December 5th: My flight didn't leave until early evening. I was sad at having to go home, but I had to go home. This trip had both a night take-off and landing, which was amazing. My only regret is that I couldn't see the landing from the cockpit.
Overall, it was a good trip. I am now completely broke, but well worth it to go see DragonGate and for her to tell me she has feelings for me. We even made plans to see each other again. The next time, she'll come out over here. In fact I need to call her now!
Well, see ya' later!
