Today was an interesting day. I am becoming more and more independent at the front desk. I was able to successfully check-in a guest wo walked in from off the street. I did mess up a little on an internet reservation, but that means I am only learning.
We had a mini-crisis when the shuttle service, which drives our guests to the major attractions for free, went out of business without even telling us. We called in another service for one of our customers and the front desk manager, JoAnne, was able to sign-up another driving group. We threw everything away that had to do with the old driving group and I made this really nice cover sheet for the driver log. JoAnne keeps telling me how much she loves me and how thankful she is that I am part of the front desk crew. I am currently updating my front page so I can use my webmail instead of using Yahoo Mail to send documents from the front desk area to the computer with the printer. Well, see ya' later!
