I know I said there wouldn't be anymore politial ads, but this goes to a choice I have made. Anyway, it looks like the Dem Civil War is in full swing:
Twenty-two percent (22%) of Democratic voters nationwide say that Hillary Clinton should drop out of the race for the Democratic Presidential nomination. However, the latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey found that an identical number—22%--say that Barack Obama should drop out.Outstanding. Instead of wanting to end their little war, they want more blood. On top of that, a little more than one out of every five Democrats would jump ship and vote for McCain if either or the other wins the nod. At the same time, McCain seems to be pulling out a solid lead against both Dems. Although I don't think anyone is surprised any more by McCain's new found lead. In fact, because of two resent speeches, I am now throwing my support behind John McCain. He actually explain for the first time what the hell happen with the housing collasped and I was really impressed. I like how he did not want to help speculators or lenders who made bad deals. I think The Trail sum it up best:! ...McCain's economic philosophy reflects the rugged individualism of a western conservative. Risk-takers deserve their rewards, but speculators and manipulators deserve no special help when things suddenly go sour.While I don't necessarily agree with him on closing Guantanamo or building another NATO (the so-called League of Democracies), I do like the idea of a successor to the Kyoto Treaty and excluding Russia from the G-8. The most important part of the foreign policy speech, was his commitment to Iraq. I, like McCain, detest war. However we did "incurred a moral responsibility" for Iraq and we need to see it through. Now excuse me while I go see if I can find some McCain stuff for my site. Well, see ya' later!
