I had a very nice and unexpected surprise today. My long lost friend, DragonGate contacted me on AIM today. I haven’t talk with her in a couple of months and I’m happy to report she is returning to the USA in one piece. She contacted me while she was just about to board the plane out.

I have to admit, I was really happy that she contacted me. I was getting worried that she was hurt or worse…

Considering that I haven’t put up my old DX Journal Entries yet, this might be a good time for some back story. I meet DragonGate on a forum where we role-played together. Since then, we kind of have an off and on relationship. She was in college but then she drop out to join the Army. Next I heard from her, she was in South Korea. Agin, in the last few months I haven’t heard much from her. It is a real treat to hear from DragonGate after all these months.

I will also make no bones about it, I really like DragonGate. She’s everything I want in a girl. There is also something about a woman in uniform that just drives me crazy!

Well, it turns out that my fears about Honest Love were well founded. I knew if I kept her talking I would prove that she was the real deal or after some money.

Back story on how I figured it out. She kept sending my pics. Well one day, she sent me a pic with a Nubiles.net water mark. She told me that she deleted her profile and she no longer did that stuff, but I soon found the profile ((not linking to site)). It is sad, because I told her I didn’t care as long as she told me the truth.

So there is a couple possiblites:

1) She’s really who she says she is, but used someone else’s image for reasons I do not understand.

2) The person is a con-artist and just wanted my money (towards the end, she “needed” $150 to get here from Africa).

Either way, she lied. Maybe if she wants to tell me the truth, we can be friends again.

Again, this makes me sad. Like I said in my last entry, I am kind of lonely. I haven’t had a girlfriend in some time and I am not very picky right now. If a girl is willing to spend her life with me, I am not going to turn her down. However I am strap for cash as it is and I am barely treanding water right now. Seriously, I don’t have money so I am not a good idea as a target.

Anyway, I hope I am wrong and she will tell me the truth.

I got these really neat US Flag Lapel Pins from Embassy Flag. I must say the experiance was awesome. Great prices, quality stuff, and prompt delivery of the pins. I got three. Two normal pins and one Patriotic Ribbon Pin. I love them so much, I am going to wear one of the normal pins tomorrow!

I have an interesting situation on my hands. Resently, this girl on YIM (no, I will not give you my YIM handle) started talking to me out of the blue. Her username is Honest Love (real name Alice). This is not unusual, however she seems unusually infatuated with me. Now far be it from me to turn a girl’s love away, I am 28 and kind of overweight, and so I am not really all that picky.

Two things bother me. One, this girl is from Ghana. The seconded thing that gets me is that she seems young.

Now her being from Africa is not a real problem. Alice says her dad was an American (past away), so I am not worried she is looking for US citizenship. The problem comes out of meeting her. If we want to get together, someone has to leave to go see the other and that can get expensive.

The other thing that worries me, is that she seems immature. Oh Alice says she is going to the University of Ghana and is studying nursing (I believe this is what she said), but she sounds and looks young. This not so much a problem, it’s just that I don’t want to take advantage of her.

I also have to be careful. I do not know if this is a scam or something. Last time a girl from Ghana talked to me on YIM, wanted nothing but money. I am just going to hand over money to someone I don’t know. Honest Love hasn’t asked me for money yet, but I will be careful.
