Wow.... Just, wow!
I have to say that was one of the best debates I have seen in a long time. That opening video by Chris Nandor (a dude who sung and played a song) was very cool. I will be looking for the video on YouTube as soon as I finished this entry. I thought that the Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney opening spat was something else. I thought those two were about to lose it and start hitting each other. Rudy lost that arguement by going just a little too far and didn't know when to stop. I understand the irony in that statement, but I am not a politician. Everyone has been waiting for the first Republican attack ad and it surprisingly came tonight from Fred Thompson. Now, each candidate was allowed a "campaign" ad to be showed during the debate. Fred Thompson choose to use this time in order to show an attack ad. I thought this was bad form and will cost him some points. Romney was able to turn the tables on Thompson. After that, things started to settle down. In the end, even through I am still rooting for Rudy, John McCain won the debate hands down. He stuck to his beliefs and even gun down Romney on one point, even if I didn't agree with McCain.
